Corrugated boxes are the standard packaging for shipping and storage in every industry.
The four types differ in how the box is formed and the tooling it requires. Compare them below and select the type that suits your application.

Minimum quantities are based on one-side Flexo printing. Two-side, offset and digital printing are subject to different conditions. Lead time begins once the design is confirmed and payment is made according to the agreed terms. Repeat orders with existing tooling take 7–10 business days and can be expedited to as little as 3 business days when machine capacity and materials allow. All figures are estimates and are confirmed by our sales team for each order.

Urgent orders for time-critical deliveries
Unexpected stock shortages, a delayed delivery elsewhere in your supply chain, or an order that must ship earlier than planned can all be handled as urgent orders. Lead time is counted from design approval and deposit payment.

Four steps from requirements to delivery
Step 1: Share your requirements
Tell us what the box will contain, how it will be shipped and stored, the box size and weight per box, and the quantity per order. You can send details via LINE OA, our online form or email. Photos of the product or your current box help us assess your requirements more quickly.
Step 2: Receive the specification and quotation
Our team determines the box specification, recommends a cost-effective paper grade and flute, and sends a quotation within 3–5 business days of receiving complete requirements.
Step 3: Approve the artwork and sample
Confirm the design and review a sample box before full production, to verify that the box fits your product and the print meets your expectations.
Step 4: Production and delivery
Production begins once the artwork is confirmed and the deposit is paid. New orders take 10–14 business days, repeat orders with existing tooling take 7–10 business days, and complex structures requiring a sample take 14–21 business days. We deliver to your facility with complete documentation.

FAQ: custom corrugated boxes
A custom corrugated box is manufactured to the size, specification and style you define, whereas stock boxes come in fixed sizes. A custom box fits your product precisely, reducing excess material and shipping costs, and can be printed with your logo and brand graphics.
Minimums vary by box type. Unprinted slotted boxes (RSC) start at 300 pieces and Flexo-printed boxes at 500 pieces. Die-cut boxes start at approximately 500 pieces, depending on the cutting die, and offset-printed boxes at approximately 2,000 pieces. Flexo figures are based on one-side printing and may vary with box size and specification. Offset and digital figures are estimates assessed by our sales team for each order. New orders requiring new tooling take 10–14 business days after artwork confirmation and deposit payment. Repeat orders with existing tooling take 7–10 business days. Urgent orders can be completed in 3–7 business days in some cases, depending on tooling readiness, quantity, complexity and the production schedule at the time. Complex structures requiring a sample take 14–21 business days. Include your required delivery date with the specification so our team can confirm before accepting the order.
Yes. Our main process is Flexo printing directly onto the box in up to 4 colors, which suits high-volume orders with logos and text. Full-image graphics can be produced by offset printing in up to 6 colors (CMYK plus spot colors), with a minimum of approximately 2,000 pieces and a lead time of approximately 20–30 business days. Short runs with frequent design changes can be printed digitally, with no printing plates required. Offset figures are estimates assessed by our sales team for each order.
The right grade depends on your product and the conditions the box will face. KH offers the highest strength and moisture resistance and is suited to cold chain applications. KA and KI provide equal strength. KA offers better moisture resistance and is readily available, making it well suited to export and high stacking. KI has a light-toned surface that prints well and suits eco-focused FMCG brands. KK is the most economical grade for general domestic use, and WS has a white surface for high-quality printing. Our team can recommend a cost-effective grade for your specification.
Five key details: the product the box will carry and its weight per box, how the box will be shipped and stacked in storage, the box or product dimensions (width x length x height), the quantity per order, and your printing requirements (whether printing is needed, and how many colors). For special structures or complex packaging, a sketch or photos of the actual product will help our team assess the job more quickly.
Yes. The Auto Boxes Technical Service team designs die-lines for requirements that no standard FEFCO style covers. The process begins with your brief, continues through structural design and BCT calculation, and concludes with a sample box for you to test with your product before production. Yes. Our factory holds FSC Chain of Custody certification. If you require FSC paper, include it in your specification when ordering. Our team will check the available grades and state the FSC claim on your order documents.
