Auto Boxes was founded in 2003 in Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao, with a firm intention to be part of the success of Thai businesses. Our Production Process

Auto Boxes runs the full process in a single factory, from the paper roll entering the corrugator to packaging ready for delivery. The process divides into two streams. The first ends with corrugated sheets that ship as a finished product. The second carries those sheets on into box production.

Stream 1 · Corrugated Sheet Production

Receiving paper rolls

Paper rolls arrive at the factory in the grade and grammage specified in the order, and every roll is checked before it goes on the machine. The grades we run regularly are KA, KI, KH, WS, KK, and CA for the fluting medium.

Running the corrugator

The corrugator forms the fluting and laminates the paper layers into two-, three-, or five-ply board as the order requires. The flute profiles we run range from B, C, and E to the double-wall BC and BE combinations.

Sheets coming off the machine are cut to the size the customer ordered. From this point they split two ways according to the type of order.

Stream 2 · Box & Packaging Production

Printing

Flexo printing runs up to four colors and suits high-volume work with logos and text. Digital printing runs four-color CMYK with no printing plate cost, which makes it a better fit for shorter runs or artwork that changes often. Every printed job needs the customer to confirm the Print Master before production starts.

Cutting, slotting, and creasing

Regular slotted and overlap-flap boxes go through the slotter for slots and crease lines. Boxes with a specific shape, such as die-cut boxes and shelf-ready packaging, go through the die-cutter using a cutting die made for that particular job.

Forming and joining

Cut sheets are stripped apart, then the manufacturer joint is closed by gluing or stitching depending on the box structure. Orders that include partitions or pads are assembled into sets at this stage.

Quality check and packing

Our QC team samples dimensions, crease lines, and print against the Print Master the customer confirmed. Once a batch passes, it is strapped or stretch-wrapped into units, following the ISO 9001 quality system the factory operates under.

Ready for delivery

Finished goods that pass QC move into the warehouse to await the scheduled delivery. New jobs take 10 to 14 business days after artwork approval and deposit payment, while repeat orders with unchanged artwork take 7 to 10 business days. Customers can choose delivery or pickup at our Bang Pakong factory.
